This Privacy Policy describes how Health4TheWorld (“Health4TheWorld”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), as the operator of the:
• Health4TheWorld.org, Health4TheWorldacademy.org and Health4TheWorld pages on social networks (individually or collectively “Site”);
• Mobile, iOS, and Android applications branded “Health4TheWorld” (individually or collectively, “App”); and
• Products and services we offer through the Site and the App, (individually or collectively, “Services”),
collects, uses, and shares information about individuals through its U.S. online interfaces. “Services” also includes voice or electronic communications or other interactions between us and individuals or others, information about registrants or attendees at events or programs, and information collected from or through other interactions with our representatives. For purposes of this document, “individual” or “you” means a person who accesses the Site, App or Services.

We automatically collect certain types of information from individuals that is necessary in to the operation of our Site. In order to access certain features on our Site, such as Services related to the Online Courses, you will need to submit information.
A. Information You Provide
Certain functions of the Site require you to submit information such as your name and email address. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information you submit to Health4TheWorld. Inaccurate information may affect your ability to use the Site, the information you receive when using the Site, and our ability to contact you. For example, your email address should be kept current because that is one of the primary manners in which we communicate with you.
We collect information that you provide to us when you make an account, purchase products or Services, complete a survey, sign-up for email updates or Online Courses, blog, donate, send us email messages, and/or participate in Online Courses or other Services on our Site. We use the information that you provide to respond to your questions, provide you the specific course and/or Services you select, and send you email messages about Site maintenance or updates.
Please understand that by submitting any information to us, you consent and agree that we collect, use and disclose such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of use, and as permitted or required by law. If you refuse or withdraw your consent, or choose not to provide us with required information, it will be impossible to provide you with certain Services that can be offered on our Site. Individuals located in the EU or EEA may have different rights.
Account Registration
If you register for an account on our Site, you are required to provide us with your name, email address, and country.
Updates
Health4TheWorld offers you the ability to receive updates either via email or by posting on portions of the Site only accessible to registered individuals. In order to subscribe to these Services, you are required to provide us with information such as your name and email address.
Forums
Health4TheWorld offers public forums from time to time (the “Forums”) where you can share comments and thoughts. In order to participate in the Forums, you are required to register with us and/or provide us with information such as your name and email address. Please keep in mind that information you post or make available in Forums will be publicly available. Accordingly, you should be careful when posting any personal or sensitive information.
Participation in Online Courses
Health4TheWorld offers individuals the opportunity to participate in an Online Course on or through the Site. If you desire to participate in a course, you will be asked to provide us with certain information necessary to conduct such a course and record your attendance. This information includes, among other things, your name and email address.
Communications with Health4TheWorld
We receive and retain information contained in any messages you send us via email or otherwise contact us.
Surveys
From time-to-time, we invite Individuals to participate in surveys or contests. Participation is voluntary. These surveys are organized so that we can better understand how our services are used, and to improve our Site, Apps and Services. We use the information in aggregate form, for analytics purposes, to understand our market, to monitor site traffic or app usage, or to modify our offering to meet the needs and interests of individuals.
If we use a third-party service provider to conduct these surveys, the information collected by the service provider is subject to both the service provider’s privacy policy and ours. We will provide information about the applicable privacy policies with the survey rules and will seek your explicit consent to these rules when required by law. You should read the terms of the survey to understand the extent to which the service provider is allowed to use or reuse the information collected.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When individuals come to our Site, we collect information about their device and connection (e.g. device type, browser type, size of the screen) and information indicating: which pages of our Site were visited, the order in which they were visited, when they were visited, and which hyperlinks were “clicked.” We also collect information from the URLs from which they linked to our Site. Collecting such information involves logging the IP address, operating system and browser software used by each individual who accesses the site. We can determine from an IP address an individual’s Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of his or her point of connectivity.

Individuals located in the European Economic Area have the right to prevent certain form of collection of personal information. See the Section “Cookies and other Technologies.”
3. How We Use the Information We Collect
In addition to the other uses set forth in this Privacy Policy, we disclose and otherwise use such information as described below.
Automatically Collected Information
We use automatically collected information to improve our Services by performing statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behavior of individuals, and by measuring demographics and interests regarding specific areas of our Site.
Providing the Site and Our Services
We use the information we collect to allow you to access and use the Site and in order to provide any information, products or Services that you request from us. We also use it for research and business purposes, including improving and customizing the Site and the products and Services we offer.
Technical Support and Security
We use the information we collect to provide technical support to you, where required, and to ensure the security of our Services and the Site.
Updates
We use information we collect when you sign-up for our various email or update Services to send you the messages in connection with the Site or an Online Course. We also archive this information and/or use it for future communications with you.
Forums and Forum Posts
To facilitate your use of the Forums, we collect information during your use of the Forums. We publish this information via extensions of our Platform that use third-party services, like mobile applications. We archive this information and/or use it for future communications with you and/or your designee(s), and/or provide it to the University or the instructor(s) associated with the courses you have taken.
We use or publish posts submitted on the Forums. If you do not wish your information to be used this way, do not post it publicly on the Forums. We reserve the right to reuse Forum posts containing this information in future versions of the courses we offer, and to enhance future course offerings.
Participation in Online Courses We use the information that we collect from you when you participate in an Online Course through the Site for processing purposes, including but not limited to tracking attendance, progress and completion of an Online Course. We archive this information to use for future communications with you in accordance with our record retention policy.
Communications with Health4TheWorld When you send us an email message or otherwise contact us, we use the information provided by you to respond to your communication and/or as described in this Privacy Policy. We also archive this information to use for future communications with you in accordance with our record retention policy.
e-Readers If we receive any information related to the extent to which you use designated e-Readers to access Health4TheWorld materials, we archive it, and use it for research, business, or other purposes in accordance with our record retention policy.
Statistical Analysis and Research
We will use information relating to your use of our Services for statistical analysis and research purposes, however we delete your name, email address, and other information that could be used to identify you from such data before we do so.
4. With Whom We Share the Information We Collect
Research. We share general course data (including quiz or assignment submissions, grades, and forum discussions), information about your activity on our Site, and demographic data from surveys operated by us with our University partners and other business partners so that our University partners and other business partners use the data for research related to online education.
Disclosure to Health4TheWorld Operations and Maintenance Contractors We use various service providers, vendors and contractors (collectively, “Contractors”) to assist us in providing our products and Services to you. Our Contractors have limited access to your information in the course of providing their products or services to us, so that we in turn can provide our products and Services to you. These Contractors include vendors and suppliers that provide us with technology, services, and/or content related to the operation and maintenance of the Site or the Online Course. Access to your information by these contractors is limited to the information reasonably necessary for the contractor to perform its limited function for us.
Government Authorities, Legal Rights and Actions Health4TheWorld may share your information with various government authorities in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish or exercise our legal rights or to protect our property; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases we reserve the right to raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us. We also may share your information when we believe it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Health4TheWorld, the Site, individuals, or others; and in connection with our Terms of Use and other agreements.
Disclosure to Acquirers Health4TheWorld may disclose and/or transfer your information to an acquirer, assignee or other successor entity in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of all or substantially all of the equity, business or assets of Health4TheWorld to which your information relates.
5. Third Party Platforms
For your convenience we provide links to sites operated by organizations other than Health4TheWorld (“Third Party Sites”) that we believe may be of interest to you. We do not disclose your information to these Third Party Sites without obtaining your consent. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these Third Party Sites. If you choose to click on a link to one of these Third Party Sites, you should review the privacy policy posted on the other site to understand how that Third Party Site collects and uses your information.
Third Party Credit Card Processing Health4TheWorld provides you with the ability to donate using a credit card through a third party payment processing service provider. Please note that our service provider – not Health4TheWorld– collects and processes your credit card information. We are not liable for any harm you suffer as resulting from any acts or omissions of the Third Party Payment Processors.
Third Party Sites Our social media links for our social media accounts are embedded in the Site but we don’t get your personal info from third party sites. However, you should be aware that those third party platforms may be collecting information about you if you click these links in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Partner sites providing Online Course related tools and services to Health4TheWorld collects nonfinancial data regarding the individual’s use of that partner site while engaged with such Online Course related activities, and the partner sites share that data with Health4TheWorld for the purpose of improving Health4TheWorld’s Services, the partner site’s services, and the individual’s education experience. This data includes information such as the amount of time spent on the partner site, and pages viewed. These partner sites collect and process your information in accordance with their own privacy policies

In some countries, the law requires us to provide you with detailed information about the cookies that are set when you visit our Site or use our App. The law may also require that we obtain your consent to the use of certain types of cookies. Health4TheWorld Sites are primarily operated and managed on servers located and operated within the United States. Accordingly, if you reside or are located outside of the United States, your personal information may be transferred outside of the country where you reside or are located.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information when it is transferred. Health4TheWorld strongly believes in protecting the privacy of children. In line with this belief, we do not knowingly collect or maintain information on our Site from persons under 16 years of age, and no part of our Site is directed to persons under 16 years of age.
If you are under 16 years of age, then please do not use or access this Site at any time or in any manner. We will take appropriate steps to delete any information of persons less than 16 years of age that has been collected on our Site without verified parental consent upon learning of the existence of such information.

When you email us with a request, we ask that you provide us with information necessary to confirm your identity. To the extent that you make such a request, we require certain information to help verify your request and prevent fraudulent information and removal requests. • Online Courses currently or previously enrolled in;
• Approximate date of account registration;
• Action requested: for example, information you want to view and/or request removed;

• A statement under penalty of perjury that all information in your request is truthful and that this is your account or that you have the authorization to make the request on behalf of the owner of the account.
Depending on the circumstances and the information you request, we may require additional methods of verification in our discretion.

California requires operators of websites or similar services to make certain disclosures to individual s who reside in California regarding their rights, specifically:
Do Not Track
Your browser may allow you to adjust your browser settings so that “do not track” requests are sent to the websites that you visit. However, we will not disable tracking technology that may be active on the Site or the Services in response to any “do not track” requests that we receive from your browser.

At this time we do not share any information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If our needs change we will advise you as required by applicable law.
Right of Erasure for California Minors
If you are a California resident under the age of 18 (a “minor”) and are registered for the Site, you may request that we remove content or information that you uploaded to the Services or stored on our servers by (i) submitting a request in writing to contact@Health4TheWorld.org and (ii) clearly identifying the content or information you wish to have removed and providing sufficient information to allow us to locate the content or information to be removed.
However, please note that we are not required to erase or otherwise eliminate content or information if (a) other state or federal laws require us or a third party to maintain the content or information; (b) the content or information was posed, stored, or republished by another individual; (c) the content or information is anonymized so that the minor cannot be individually identified; (d) the minor does not follow the instructions posted in this Privacy Policy on how to request removal of such content or information; and (e) the minor has received compensation or other consideration for providing the content. Further, nothing in this provision shall be construed to limit the authority of a law enforcement agency to obtain such content or information.
