“The nominations submitted for The 2018 American Business Awards were outstanding. The competition was intense, and those recognized as Stevie Award winners should be immensely proud of this accomplishment,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.

“This is a great acknowledgment of the hard work and dedication of the team members who have volunteered their time and effort towards our mission of bringing health to remote parts of the world via innovative technologies like machine learning, mobile health, and virtual reality. All these technologies are available free of cost. We dedicate this award to the patients and healthcare professionals around the world who have inspired our journey of creating these solutions and make our efforts worth it”, said Bhavya Rehani, MD, President, CEO and Founder of Health4TheWorld.

“The Health4TheWorld family shares this recognition with immense gratitude with our global community – team members, advisors, collaborators, and supporters,” said Ankur Bharija, MD, Co-founder, Board member and leading Stanford medical faculty. “It is rewarding to see how the cumulative efforts of so many from different disciplines like medicine, technology, arts and others have led to something that is actually useful and valuable to the lives of patients and health providers globally. And that is something we should all be proud of!”

We are extremely honored and delighted at the Silver Stevie award for “Best tech startup”. This honor is a testament to the many volunteers and advisers who have helped bring the vision of health4theworld.org to fruition”, said William Dillon, MD, our Co-founder, Board member and Executive Vice Chair of Radiology at UCSF.  “Our goal is to educate healthcare workers around the world for the purpose of improving the health of people in all countries. The disparities are huge, and much of this has to do not with desire on the part of healthcare workers but simply educational resources. With the current flattening of the Internet, Health4theWorld is able to bring technological resources, including artificial intelligence, visualization aids, and lectures from leaders throughout the world to patients and healthcare providers in countries far and wide, developing and developed, without boundaries. Ultimately through education, the disparities in health care throughout the world can be minimized.”
